Accounts Senior

P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing Accountancy Firm based in North Lanarkshire, to recruit an Accounts Senior on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who is looking to progress into more of a senior role that offers a pathway for promotion in a supportive environment.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Preparing sole trader, partnership and Limited Company accounts for a variety of clients
• Preparing management accounts
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Preparing corporation tax computations
• Preparing self-assessment tax returns
• Managing client relationships
• Acting as a mentor to the junior staff members

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Practice
• Be able to prepare statutory accounts
• Good software experience: Sage, Xero, Iris, Quickbooks and FreeAgent
• Strong communication skills
• Ambitious and hard working
• Willingness to progress
