The Role  

The Accreditation Coordinator is a key operational role supporting the delivery of accreditation services across Glasgow 2026. You will help ensure that everyone who needs access to Games venues can move safely, securely and efficiently, supporting the smooth running of operations across all accredited sites. 

Working closely with the Accreditation Operations Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of accreditation operations across both competition and non-competition venues. You will play a vital role in making sure accreditation processes are consistent, well-organised and delivered to a high standard across the Games. 

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role where you will help solve operational challenges, support readiness activities, and contribute directly to the successful delivery of Games-time operations. 

Responsibilities will evolve as the Games approach, and flexibility, responsiveness and teamwork will be essential as we move from planning into delivery. 

Job Summary:   

As Accreditation Coordinator, you will support the end-to-end delivery of accreditation operations for Glasgow 2026, helping to ensure secure and efficient access across all Games venues. You will contribute to operational planning, support the implementation of accreditation services, and work closely with a wide range of functional areas and external partners to ensure joined-up delivery. 

You will play an active role in test events, rehearsals and Games-time readiness activities, helping to identify and resolve issues quickly and ensuring accreditation services are fully prepared for operational delivery. You will also support the training of staff and volunteers, helping to build confidence and consistency across the Accreditation team. 

This role is about precision, pace and teamwork — making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time, so the Games can run safely and smoothly. 

Key Skills and Experience:  

You will bring experience of working in fast-paced, high-pressure operational environments, ideally within large-scale events or complex delivery settings. You will be confident working with multiple stakeholders and building strong, effective working relationships across different teams and organisations. 

You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information quickly and make sound decisions under pressure. High attention to detail and strong IT skills are essential, alongside experience of working with data and a clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection. 

You will be confident managing competing priorities, able to stay calm and focused when demands change quickly, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. 

A good understanding of multi-sport events and the operational environment behind them would be highly beneficial, along with experience of working across culturally diverse teams and adapting communication styles to different audiences.

Salary:  Starting salary is from £28,325. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
