Etive House Care Home is looking to recruit a Activities Co-ordinator to join our luxury, purpose-built care home.

Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62 residents.

This home offers exemplary standards of residential, dementia and respite care.

As Activities Co-ordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement activities appropriate to the residents needs and requests.

Activities Coordinator Contract

£11.44 per hour

Contracted to 12 or 16 hours per week (Weekend only available)

Company pension

5.6 weeks annual leave

Our Activities Co-Ordinators help our residents to socialise within the Care home and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes. You will be responsible for planning and initiating monthly rolling/individual programmes and encourage residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies.

You will also encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in the care homes activities. All of which helps to create a positive atmosphere.

You will also need to maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.

As an Activities Coordinator you will require the following experience and skills

Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/activities.

Friendly, creative, and confident.

Genuine interest in working with the elderly.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Confident team player.

Ability to work on own initiative.
