Full Job Description
Job purpose: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Modern Apprentice to join our Lettings and Property Management team.
Working in a fast-paced office environment, you will provide administrative support across a range of lettings and property management activities while delivering excellent customer service to tenants, landlords, contractors and other customers.
Your day-to-day duties will include updating our property management software, maintaining property and tenancy records, booking viewings, assisting with tenant referencing and tenancy documentation, helping with utility transfers at tenancy changeovers, issuing inventories and inspection reports, managing keys for contractors, ordering office supplies and responding to customers by telephone, email and in person.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to gain practical workplace experience while working towards a Business and Administration Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6, with the opportunity to develop a career within Lettings and Property Management.
What will I learn? Throughout your apprenticeship, you will develop a wide range of practical business administration and customer service skills, including:
Providing professional customer service by telephone, email and face-to-face
Using property management software and maintaining accurate records
Managing property and tenancy documentation
Developing strong written and verbal communication skills
Organising and prioritising your workload in a busy office environment
Booking appointments and property viewings
Supporting tenant referencing and the preparation of tenancy documents
Understanding the administration involved in property lettings and tenancy changeovers
Working effectively as part of a small team
Building confidence, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Developing an understanding of the Lettings and Property Management sector
What qualifications or qualities are required? You do not need previous experience in Lettings or Property Management, as training and support will be provided. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and develop within the role.
