Full Job Description
Job purpose: Babington are currently supporting Blue Business Water Limited with the recruitment of a Business Admin Apprentice.
As a water license provider, we manage water and waste water provided in Scotland to Scottish businesses via the wholesaler Scottish water by providing invoice management, customer service and inbound operational cases. This can range from small one site businesses to larger multi site businesses.
As an admin apprentice, you will provide day to day support to our customers within the Scottish water market. This role will mainly focus on delivering excellent customer service through phone and email communication while developing knowledge of the water industry and its processes. This apprenticeship would be ideal for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn, the role offers the opportunity or gain valuable workplace experience alongside members of staff who have been in the water industry for many years and with your advisor at Babington who will help develop your knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in customer service and administration.
You may wish to include who the apprentice will be working alongside, who will they report to, and day to day duties.
You will be answering our customer service line and our customer service mailbox predominantly then will move onto helping with our gap site scheme, searching for customer details and over seeing some background operational tasks when you have had some training on the water market, you may also need to help with any tasks that management pass to you if they have a busier week. You will more than likely start working with our business development manager Rian in your first few weeks.
What will I learn? You will gain hands on , real life workplace skills while working towards achieving your Business Admin SCQF 6.
What qualifications or qualities are required? We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to work, confident and eager to learn, as we are a small team it would be ideal to have someone who is confident working amongst a smaller group of people and can work alongside different members of staff but also capable of working alone.
