Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Admin Assistant to provide front line administrative support in a primary school, acting as the focal point for staff and visitors.

You have specific responsibility for Financial and Devolved School Management issues, responding to changes in IT systems, and supervision and development of Clerical Assistant(s). You are responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the school office.

As an Admin Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Headteacher or Admin Coordinator.

Educated to SCQF Level 7, which includes HNC or Advanced Highers or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
