Full Job Description
St Modan’s High School is seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and proactive Admin Assistant to join our busy office team. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and pupils, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operational and administrative running of our vibrant school community.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other office staff, you will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, maintain accurate pupil records, handle front-of-house inquiries, and provide vital support to staff and families.
St Modan’s is a Catholic comprehensive school located only 40 minutes from Glasgow and Edinburgh, serving pupils from three local authorities.
The school community places a strong emphasis on promoting core Gospel values. The school’s ‘3 R’s: Ready Respectful Responsible’ set clear expectations for young people. This successfully creates a calm, positive, inclusive learning environment, based on mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose (HMIE Report April 2023).
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
