Applications are invited for an experienced and motivated admin leader to join our centralised home support team across North Lanarkshire. If successful in your application, you will join a team who are focused on delivering high standards of support which provides smooth and effective administrative provision within both the council and to our internal and external partners.
Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for organisation and management of admin functions within your designated team, ensuring consistent application of service and council policies and procedures.
We are looking for applicants who have a flexible and proactive approach to changing workloads, can demonstrate they have the right skills, experience and qualities to work within a fast paced and changing work environment. As an excellent communicator, you should be able to use your own initiative to problem solve and have the confidence to manage, motivate and support staff, ensuring delivery on deadlines and accuracy and quality of work.
Possession of a HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent is essential plus extensive administrative experience working in a social work setting, preferably home support. Applicants must have excellent IT skills and be aware of, and able to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of their work.
