Full Job Description
Your new company
Our client is a growing and highly respected financial services organisation based in Glasgow, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Customer & Credit Control Administrator to join their collaborative team and play a key role in supporting sales ledger administration and debt management activities.
Your new role
As a Customer & Credit Control Administrator, you will be responsible for providing first-class customer service while managing payments, sales ledger administration, and credit control activities. Working closely with clients, debtors, and internal teams, you will allocate payments accurately, monitor outstanding accounts, and maintain debtor records within the company systems. You will liaise with customers regarding account balances, process credit limit changes, produce sales ledger reports, and support the wider business through a range of administrative duties. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to business improvement projects and process enhancements as they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an administration, finance, credit control, accounts receivable, or customer service environment. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with both clients and colleagues. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word, are essential. You will be a proactive team player with a positive attitude, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Experience working with sales ledgers, debtor management, or payment allocation processes would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of 26,000-28,000, flexible working hours across a 35-hour working week, participation in the company bonus scheme, and the opportunity to join a supportive organisation that values teamwork, development, and employee success. You will gain valuable exposure to a busy finance and operations function while working within a positive and collaborative environment.
