This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team in Social Work Services supporting the provision of social work records to individuals, colleagues and other agencies  as part of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry (SCAI).

You will be responsible for preparing and processing social work files in accordance with data protection legislation, organisational procedures, and confidentiality requirements.  The role requires long periods of concentration and a high degree of accuracy, discretion, and sensitivity, as records often contain personal and complex information relating to individuals and families.

The postholder will have experience of handling confidential and sensitive personal information, be an excellent organiser and able to work methodically with large volumes of information and maintain accuracy under pressure.  You will be required to work independently whilst also contributing effectively as part of a team.

This is a full-time post for an initial period of 12 months.  Please note this is an office-based post.

This post may be suitable for secondment.  Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
