Full Job Description
ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER- 3 days per week Ellon Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to enhance our forward-thinking clinical team. We are a well-established, supportive training and undergraduate teaching practice, committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care to a growing patient population of approximately 15,500. About the Role The successful candidate will work autonomously to provide high-quality, holistic, patient-centred care in line with practice protocols and clinical governance standards. You will collaborate closely with our supportive GP team while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism. This role involves advanced clinical assessment, independent decision-making, and the diagnosis and management of acute presentations. We are looking for an expert practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced Primary Care environment. Although house visits are kept to a minimum thanks to a full-time Advanced Care Practitioner provided by the Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership, this role would require a share of covering house visits when our ACP is unavailable.

- Registered non-medical prescriber
- Previous experience in Primary Care, a Minor Injuries Unit, or a comparable clinical setting
- Proven ability to work autonomously with advanced clinical judgement
- Excellent communication skills and highly developed specialist knowledge
- A proactive approach and strong commitment to teamwork
You will be supported by a strong multidisciplinary team including: - 2 Practice Pharmacists
- 2 ANPs
- 5 Practice Nurses delivering Chronic Disease Management and Minor Illness clinics
- Additional Treatment Room nursing and HCSW support via CTAC
