Salary: £22,900 - £25,080 per annum (Circa)

Location: Home

Hours: 32.5 hours

Department: Services – Advice Line

You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. The Advice Line service is a free and confidential helpline that supports people living with our conditions to ensure that live no life is half lived.


The Advice Line Call Coordinator will respond to incoming phone calls/e-mails/text messages and direct service users to the appropriate people/team within CHSS and be responsible for administration duties related to the Advice Line with support from a team of volunteers. This role is home based but occasional travel across Scotland will be required.


We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good communication skills who have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a health/social care setting and a basic understanding of medical terminology. Experience of recruiting and line managing volunteers is desirable.
