Full Job Description
Supporting our UK portfolio, you'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver a structured, compliant and people-focused approach to change, while continuing to strengthen how we manage employee relations across the business.
You'll be joining at a point where pace, judgement and credibility really matter. There's a clear programme of activity in place, but success in this role will come down to how you build relationships, bring clarity to complexity and create consistency in how people decisions are made., You'll play a central role in supporting a UK-wide region of branded hotels, working alongside HR and operational leaders to ensure a consistent and well-managed approach to change.
This will include coordinating and supporting town hall sessions and consultation activity, leading or advising on individual consultation meetings, and making sure feedback is captured, assessed and responded to in a thoughtful and structured way. You'll be comfortable working across job evaluation and scoring, supporting interview and selection activity where needed, and helping leaders communicate outcomes clearly and fairly. You'll also coordinate appeals, ensuring a smooth and well-governed process from start to finish.
Alongside this, you'll act as a trusted partner on day-to-day employee relations matters. You'll coach leaders to approach people challenges with confidence, balancing policy, best practice and commercial context to reach the right outcomes.
You'll also play a part in shaping how we approach people matters more broadly, helping to embed a culture of early intervention where issues are addressed proactively and consistently across the business.
You'll already be operating at HR Advisor level, with strong experience across employee relations and organisational change. You're comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to balance structured project work with the day-to-day needs of the business.
You have a solid understanding of UK employment legislation and are confident managing consultation processes, but more importantly, you know how to apply this in a practical and commercially aware way. Your approach is calm, considered and solutions-focused, allowing you to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels.
You build trust quickly and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care. You know when to challenge, when to support, and how to adapt your approach depending on what the situation needs.
Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA are a division of the global Aimbridge Hospitality brand, overseeing over 1,600 hotels and resorts across the world. We work with big brands such as Hilton, Accor, Marriot and IHG as well as small independent hotels and everything in between.
This is an opportunity to step into meaningful, visible work within a supportive HR team that plays a key role in how we operate as a business. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload, with access to senior HR support when you need it, and the chance to contribute to how we continue to evolve our approach to people and performance.
We offer a hybrid working model, with a Glasgow base and flexibility built around business needs, alongside a competitive salary or day rate depending on the nature of the engagement.
You'll also have access to industry-leading benefits, including generous staff rates and discounts across our UK portfolio, 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme, and genuine opportunities to grow with a company that's continuing to set the standard in hospitality., Aimbridge Hospitality Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, 1st Floor, Turnberry House, 175 West George Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, G2 5LB
