Air Conditioning Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and proven experience in the installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems both splits and VRV/ VRF. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and the full installation of air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. You will work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities while executing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems throughout central Scotland
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Work with other members of the team and assist where necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and the project managers.

Skills

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• F-Gas Certification (Category 1)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience in installation, service, and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with the full installation including, containment, pipework, wiring, and commissioning various air conditioning systems is essential.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
