Anti-Financial Crime Analyst (Adviser Platform)

Experteer Overview As Anti-Financial Crime Analyst in the Adviser business, you support the AFC MLRO with second line guidance and oversight. Based in Edinburgh, you collaborate with Aberdeen Adviser, first line teams, auditors and third parties to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies. You will contribute to management reporting, monitoring, risk assessments and escalation of issues outside policy or risk appetite. This role offers specialist AFC exposure, informed decision-making and opportunities to shape controls in a client-focused platform. Pay / Benefits

• Provide AFC advice, guidance and challenge on new products, services and business activity Support second line oversight of AFC systems and controls against laws, regulations and guidance Collate management information for senior management reporting and AFC obligations Review higher risk escalations, waivers or exceptions and matters outside policy Execute AFC monitoring and testing, support risk assessments and remediation tracking Assist with AFC queries from clients, regulators, counterparties, auditors and third parties Tasks Experience providing AFC advice, guidance or oversight within a regulated financial institution Good knowledge of UK financial crime laws, rules, regulatory guidance and industry practice Understanding of applying financial crime policies, standards and risk appetite in business activity Key requirements 20 days' annual leave 16% employer pension contribution discretionary performance-based bonus private healthcare gym discounts season ticket loans
