Application Engineer (Student Placement)

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the successful applicant will work a team responsible for a range of the following key accountabilities:

• Provide project support to the department as business needs dictate.
• Creation and supply of aftermarket nameplates to our European dealers.
• Provide technical support on production nameplates.
• Creation of renderings to support marketing communication of new options.
• Provide special bespoke option quotations support to our sale teams and dealers.
  
  Candidates should be students, working towards a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Able to interpret basic mechanical engineering concepts.
• Competent in MS365 Office packages.
• Demonstrate strong teamworking and communication skills, proactivity and initiative and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
DESIRABLE:
• Previous experience in a customer facing role.
• Experience using 3D CAD and/or rendering software.
