Full Job Description

We are recruiting young people/school leavers to undertake apprenticeships in the following areas: Joinery , Plumbing, Bricklaying, Plumbing and Electrical.

This is a full in house training opportunity to be an all round tradesperson that will have the versatility to be able to take on all aspects of the Construction Industry .... You will be joining a long established family business that is a leading Domestic builders that do Building, Landscaping,Kitchens and Bathrooms.

Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, hard working and be prepared to make something of themselves

Hours

Full time, 40 hours per week.

8.00am to 4.30pm 5 Days

About the role

As one of our trainees, you will assist tradesmen undertake a variety of tasks involved in the Building Industry

To be the right fit for this role, trainees must be hardworking, punctual and enthusiastic. You will also require a keen eye for detail and be capable of working to a high quality level. Show ability in learning to use a variety of hand tools, power-tools and machinery in a safe & responsible manner. Successful completion of the apprenticeship would lead to secure future employment as a tradesperson - a fully trained tradesman's pay could be as much as £800.00 per week plus overtime

Day-to-day duties & responsibilities

· Working as part of our team, follow and understand relevant instructions, and achieve the relevant work quality requirement.

· Assist existing staff in their daily duties.

· Assist in the final build up and clean-off on finished jobs when required.

· Clean and maintain all equipment and Personal Protective Equipment as required.

· Undertake daily maintenance observations

· Maintain the daily Health & Safety requirements of the company.

Ability to listen and understand instructions and possess strong communication skills. The ability to work well as part of a team or individually, as required.
