Requirements

You will have SVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent in a relevant subject. Or SVQ/NEBS, or equivalent, in supervisory Management or relevant demonstrable experience in supervisory management role.

Responsibilities

You will ensure the delivery of services and assist the Area Manager in meeting the required standard of service, supervise and planning of works, and to assist in achieving efficient and effective management of the section.

The Individual

You will have demonstrable experience in supervisory management role, a proven successful track record of delegation of duties and effective works monitoring and performance management. You will have demostrable experience in a supervisory management role and supervising/management of in front line service delivery. You will have knowledge of budgetary management and controls, experience in resource management, staff, equipment etc and experience in implementing maintenance plans and developing and implementing work programmes. You will have the ability to use relevant IT packages e.g. GIS etc. A current and valid driving licence is also essential.
