Based at Glasgow Airport, you’ll work closely with our Arrivals & Departures delivery partner to ensure Games Family arrivals are managed smoothly and efficiently. From coordinating arrivals and supporting onward transport arrangements to resolving issues and responding to changing operational requirements, you’ll help ensure every guest receives a seamless and professional experience from the moment they arrive.
Collaboration will sit at the heart of the role as you work alongside volunteers, Commonwealth Sport colleagues, operational teams and delivery partners. Leading a small team within a fast-paced environment, you’ll help maintain high service standards throughout extended operating hours while ensuring information, updates and operational issues are communicated effectively across the wider Games operation.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating volunteer rotas, overseeing airport arrival operations, supporting transfer arrangements and responding to operational challenges as they arise. A calm and proactive approach will be important, particularly when managing changing priorities, resolving issues at pace and ensuring guests receive a consistently high-quality experience.
Success in this role will come from your ability to lead with confidence, build positive working relationships and make sound decisions within a dynamic operational environment. Most importantly, you’ll help ensure visitors leave Glasgow Airport with a positive first impression of Glasgow 2026, the city and Scotland.

Previous experience within customer-facing, hospitality, events, transport, protocol or guest services environments would be highly beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities will be essential, alongside the capability to assess situations quickly, prioritise issues effectively and deliver solutions within a fast-paced operational setting. Experience leading or coordinating teams would be advantageous, particularly where high standards of service and operational delivery have been required.
