Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) provides vessels and harbour infrastructure for ferry services throughout Scotland. This position, based in our Head Office, offers an exciting opportunity in a client role to be involved with asset maintenance relating to CMAL’s harbours.
With degree level qualification or equivalent, and reporting to the Principal Planning Engineer, you will oversee the implementation, management, maintenance and information upload for the new asset management system, as well as producing and upkeeping relevant processes and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing upgrades to the existing user systems in relation to port infrastructure.
An understanding of marine infrastructure assets and general engineering and building works is desirable. You will also have a proactive approach and excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
The role may require occasional travel across Scotland during harbour operational hours, which may include evenings and weekends. A driving licence is therefore desirable.
