West Dunbartonshire Leisure is looking for enthusiastic Swimming Teachers to join our team on a part-time permanent or casual basis and support the continued growth of our high-quality Learn to Swim Programme. We offer a wide range of opportunities for teachers to develop their skills and experience across various programme areas, including: Early Years See My Ability School Swimming Adult Swimming Lessons Our expanding core Learn to Swim programme for children aged 3 to 12 years In addition, we have recently launched an exciting Teen Swimming Programme, creating even more opportunities to engage and inspire swimmers at all stages of their journey. Whether you are an experienced teacher or looking to broaden your expertise, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team committed to helping people of all ages and abilities develop confidence and skills in the water. Requirements This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found . Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
