Full Job Description

  • Lead, coach and motivate the GC&E team to achieve revenue and conversion targets
  • Manage incoming enquiries, supporting the team to maximise sales opportunities
  • Oversee planning, event coordination and billing to ensure seamless client experiences
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and internal departments
  • Support departmental KPI setting, performance management and promotional activity., Guide the GC&E team in enquiry handling, conversion and proposal excellence
  • Drive departmental goals, revenue maximisation and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure events are planned to Waldorf Astoria standards, including VIP and large-scale functions
  • Collaborate effectively across commercial and operational teams
  • Represent the department in promotional activities and client engagement.

    Experienced in a GC&E supervisory or similar sales/events role within hospitality
  • A confident leader with excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Positive, polished communicator with strong IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office
  • Detail-driven, resilient and capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Strong numerical skills, data-aware and comfortable analysing performance metrics.
