Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Glasgow’s parks and greenspaces. As Assistant Manager (Landscape Design) within our Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability Service, you will lead the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of play area and landscape maintenance projects that enhance play value and accessibility for our citizens. Working within the Greenspace and Biodiversity team, you will play a key role in managing and delivering small - medium scale play renewal works, as well as park infrastructure improvements. As well project delivery, you will have oversight of customer correspondence for play maintenance and other park projects across a diverse range of sites within the estate.

This is an opportunity to influence projects that improve Glasgow’s public spaces while developing your leadership and professional expertise. If you are passionate about contributing to sustainable, inclusive and high-quality parks and open spaces, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to make a lasting impact on the city’s parks and open spaces, we would welcome your application.
