The shift pattern for this job is varied 365/year, 24/7 average 5 days per 7.

North-East Sector Radiography Assistant Practitioner

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiography Assistant Practitioner to join our team across out North East Glasgow sites (Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill ACH) as we strive for continued excellent patient care. The departments are friendly and supportive environments that provide their staff the opportunity to succeed in their goals; we are committed to supporting CPD and encourage role development.

Our Radiology departments provide a variety of Inpatient and Outpatient services including Minor Injury Units and Orthopaedic Clinics. We have comprehensive Induction and Training Programme throughout the departments; this is an ideal supportive environment for those looking for a new role. New members of staff will find themselves welcomed into vibrant and friendly departments that have a supportive attitude.

Successful applicants will be highly motivated and enthusiastic; adaptable to change; team players; and have excellent communication and organisational skills. Commitment to high quality patient care is essential. You will be able to display excellent interpersonal skills with a caring, patient centred and flexible approach to work and innovation.

It is essential that candidates applying for this role have a Higher National Certificate (HNC) Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. This is a full time role, however, part time working and job share will be considered.
