Full Job Description
Candidates must have a PhD degree in Construction Management or closely related field, and excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge and experience of construction project management are necessary. Experience of supervising PhD and Master students and experience of teaching, tutorial or laboratory work at undergraduate and postgraduate level in an international English speaking institution are preferable. A proven record of research excellence with publications in peer-reviewed journals and in securing research funding, and teaching experience including curriculum development and leadership in academic programmes are also preferable.

Salary will be within the range of 450,190 RMB to 592,815 RMB per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, an attractive package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance and insurance will be provided for international appointments.
The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of 5 years starting October 2026. This contract may be extended by mutual agreement.
