Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Mid LothianHours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

-Assisting in the commercial management of projects and developing your quantity surveying skills

-Undertaking site measurements and preparing information for payment applications

-Reviewing sub-contractor applications for payments

-Supporting accurate assessment and reporting of project financial positions

-Assisting in the production of commercial reports and working with internal and external stakeholders

You have experience working within the main contractor environment

-You have a sound understanding of NEC/JCT Contracts

-You're confident in dealing with client representatives, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders

-You hold a Full driving licence

-You demonstrate a collaborative, trusted and focused approach to your work
