About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of residential development projects in Musselburgh. You will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure homes are built safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in housebuilding and progress your career in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily site operations.

• Support the management of subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

• Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Monitor progress, materials, and resources to keep projects on track.

• Assist with reporting on site activities, risks, and progress.

• Help maintain high standards of quality across all aspects of the build.

• Proactively identify and resolve site issues under the guidance of the Site Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or residential site work is desirable.

• Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety practices.

• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to take initiative and work effectively under supervision.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS card, HNC in Construction, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
