Experteer Overview In this role, you will operate as a Solicitor within the Risk & Compliance team to support claims handling, complaints, and regulatory matters. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage risk, assist with regulatory queries, and contribute to policy and accreditation work. The position offers hybrid working across multiple UK offices and a strong focus on risk, compliance, and professional standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliant, efficient processes and support firm objectives. Pay / Benefits
- Support claims handling and liaison with fee earners, insurers, brokers, and panel solicitors Assist with complaints following firm procedures, liaising with complainants and regulators Support the Risk Director and Head of Claims and Regulation Compliance on strategic and operational issues Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on risk-related matters Handle queries on SRA StaRs, Principles, Codes of Conduct and liaise with regulators Travel to other offices for ad-hoc meetings as needed Provide risk and compliance information for tenders and audits Assist with complex conflict queries and participate in Group Risk Manager Meetings Provide internal training on risk issues and contribute to policy writing and updates Maintain relevant risk-related registers and support external accreditations Tasks Qualified Solicitor or experienced risk advisor with ~2+ years PQE or relevant experience Good knowledge of SRA StaRs, Principles and Codes of Conduct Strong written and verbal communication skills Patient, professional, assertive with inquisitorial approach Negotiation and influencing skills Analytical mindset for solving complex issues Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with firm databases and case management systems Key requirements competitive salary annual pay review private medical insurance 25 days holiday (30 with service) flexible benefits scheme hybrid working
