Experteer Overview In this Audit Manager role, you will lead a portfolio within BDO's Audit team, ensuring high-quality, transparent audits for clients and stakeholders. You'll collaborate with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners to deliver value and maintain risk-aware practices. The position blends client engagement, team leadership, and opportunities to develop professionally within a supportive, agile culture. You'll help drive new business conversations and nurture talent across the team, contributing to the firm's mission to support entrepreneurial organisations. Pay / Benefits
- Be a primary point of contact for audit client engagements and keep stakeholders informed on progress Manage the financials and delivery for a portfolio of audits Ensure adherence to risk management and quality control procedures Identify business and sales opportunities and support new business relationships and proposals Recruit, develop and motivate team members; oversee appraisals and development plans Collaborate with the management team on resource planning and efficiency improvements Act as an ambassador for the firm and participate in marketing and service breadth initiatives Support office marketing events and stay informed about the firm's services and offerings Tasks ACA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent Strong knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements Familiarity with financial products, firm services, regulatory issues and anti-money laundering requirements Experience with systems/controls testing and substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures Project management experience Key requirements agile working career development programmes mentoring and coaching multidisciplinary events state-of-the-art collaboration spaces supportive, people-centred culture
