Automation Engineer

FT Recruitment is exclusively handling an opportunity for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our client. This role is based in Aberdeen and will be recruited on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The successful candidate will be supporting managed service clients by driving automation, process improvements, and providing best practice guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell
• Create and enhance ITSM tool automations and API integrations
• Design and implement workflows and process automation
• Perform basic Windows and Linux administration
• Develop and deploy O365, Intune, and Azure automation solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimise automated systems

Candidates are required to have a solid understanding and experience of using PowerShell, or other automated tools, whilst being familiar with DevOps & C#. This role suits someone who is proactive and can identify automation opportunities.
