Full Job Description

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Billing Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Billing Manager, the successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient management of billing processes, client accounts, and supplier interactions.


This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with data, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate billing records, supporting client and supplier queries, and assisting with the onboarding of new customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Billing Manager across a range of billing and account management activities.
  • Manage and process change of tenancy requests, ensuring billing systems and customer records are updated accurately and efficiently.
  • Issue and manage debt reminders, liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Respond to and resolve supplier and client queries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support supply transfers by resolving transfer issues, processing VAT declarations, and maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients, including data cleansing, validation, and collation.
  • Carry out bill validation checks to identify discrepancies and support issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support billing operations and audit requirements.
  • Provide general office administration support as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience within a billing, administration, customer service, or utilities environment is advantageous but not essential.
