Role: Bookkeeper, fully site based
Duration: Initially 1 month temporary then reviewed
Start: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5pm

Duties
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using accounting software such as Xero
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid on time
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and statements for audit readiness
- Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying data integrity
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial procedures
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments to optimize cash flow
Requirements
- Proven experience working with accounting software, ideally Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
- Effective communication skills to clearly document and explain financial data
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred
