Full Job Description

Applications are invited from motivated individuals to assist the Building Cleaning Management team in the delivery of front line services for Building Cleaning.

Duties include arranging relief staff, processing timesheets for payroll, organising and recording electrical equipment inspections, organise, undertake and record employee performance audits, identify and carry out training, process requests for replenishment cleaning consumables and maintain personnel and equipment records on a bespoke computer system.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise their own workload whilst working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages is also essential although training will be given.

Previous experience in a cleaning role in a local government environment and supervising front line staff is desirable.

You should hold a full, current, driving licence in respect of category B (please note the Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so if you are unable to drive due to a disability your application will still be able to be considered).
