Full Job Description

Job purpose: This is an exciting opportunity for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Supply Chain Team as Business Administration Apprentices. The successful candidates will gain experience across either Dry Goods Materials Planning or New Product Development (NPD) and begin your career with a highly respected and well-established organisation in the whisky industry. You will gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a recognised Business & Administration Apprenticeship qualification.

Dry Goods Planning Apprentice

  • Monitor stock levels of packaging materials.
  • Update planning records and reports.
  • Support ordering and delivery tracking.
  • Work with Production and Warehouse teams.
  • Learn how materials are planned and managed.

NPD Apprentice

  • Assist with new product launch projects.
  • Update reports.
  • Work with teams across the business.
  • Learn how products move from concept to production.

What qualifications or qualities are required? We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn. The ideal candidate will have :

  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good IT skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications in English and Maths, or equivalent, would be beneficial. Previous administrative experience gained through part-time work, volunteering or work experience would also be an advantage, but is not essential.

Most importantly, you should take pride in producing high-quality work and be keen to develop professionally through the apprenticeship.
