Your new role

As a Business Advisory Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted adviser and main point of contact for business owners and senior stakeholders. You will oversee the delivery of accounts and advisory assignments, ensuring work is completed to a high standard while identifying opportunities to add value through commercial insight and strategic guidance.
The role will involve managing and reviewing the work of senior and junior team members, supporting their development through coaching and mentoring. You will build strong client relationships, attend meetings, and provide practical advice on a range of accounting, business performance, and growth-related matters. Working closely with senior leadership, you will also contribute to the continued development of the firm's advisory offering and support business development initiatives where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong background gained within an accountancy practice environment. Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients and leading teams is essential, alongside a solid understanding of accounts preparation, advisory services, and client relationship management.You will possess excellent communication skills and be confident engaging with business owners and senior decision-makers. A proactive and commercially minded approach, combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, will be key to success.
