Business Development Specialist

Location: Home Based / Field Based - South Region
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus commission and benefits
Hours: 37.5 per week

  • Mix of Homebased/Field-based


  • Our "Office in a Box" home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are, to work comfortably from home. As this is a Sales role, you will be required to travel within the South Region to meet clients. You must hold a valid driving license, but we will provide a car allowance to set you up for success.

    Business Development Specialists are at the heart of growing our Regional Business and Vodafone UK. The Business Development Specialist will engage new logo organisations, identifying the business challenges faced by those organisations and will disrupt our competitors by leveraging the Vodafone business leading portfolio (Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things) to deliver business outcomes that help these organisations and in doing so grow our Regional business by moving to Vodafone.

    The role will focus on winning 100% new logo business and developing high potential identified clients. You will be central in achieving a step change in delivering continued growth for regional business and will be working with management and director/board level customers on transformational & complex bids.

    Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced in new business and or direct sales environment.

  • Ability to command respect and support at the highest levels internally & within target organisations.

  • An excellent communicator and customer advocate.

  • Able to demonstrate resilience in a direct sales environment.

  • Ability to influence and drive outcomes across the organisation.

  • Some exposure to Telecom's environments- Desirable.
