Full Job Description

Full-time support required to provide business and finance administrative duties in a factory office. 


The position is part of a small collaborative team to provide the support needed to provide business facilitation outside the factory production floor. The role is full-time, with the factory being operational Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. although contracted hours can be discussed if an alternative work pattern is needed for the correct person. All work is on-site – unfortunately the role does not facilitate home working.


Main tasks include purchase and sales orders, purchases and sales ledger including payments and managing debtors, factory wages, stock calculations, general customer and supplier queries and general office admin duties.

Some supervision and management of junior staff would also be part of the responsibilities.


The Organization is also working to improve and automate processes and the ability to help manage change whilst dealing with business as usual would be required, with the ability to contribute ideas to process improvement very welcome. 


Essential Skills, Experience and Requirements:

·        Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly excel.

·        Confidence in using systems.

·        Experience and confidence in answering and dealing with customer and supplier demands and queries.

·        Ability to manage a full workload and prioritise tasks.

·        Experience of sales and purchase ledger systems including ordering, payments and reconciliations

·        Experience of office administration

·        Experience of junior staff supervision

·        Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional duties where necessary.

·        Ability to manage and work through and within changing processes.

 

Preferred Skills, Experience and Requirements:

·        Experience of weekly wage processing

·        Experience of working in factory office environment with regular deliveries of raw materials coming in and sales of finished goods going out.

·        Clean driving license with access to a car (given location of factory)

·        Ability to contribute ideas to process change including automation.
