Full Job Description
Are you a commercially driven business growth professional who wants your work to create real social impact?
Voiceover Interpreting is a successful social enterprise providing high-quality interpreting and translation services while supporting the wider work of Govan Community Project with refugees and people seeking asylum. We are now entering an exciting new phase as we establish Voiceover as an independent Community Interest Company (CIC).
We're looking for a Business Growth Manager who can lead the strategic and commercial development of Voiceover Interpreting, helping us achieve ambitious growth while staying true to our social mission. You will build partnerships, secure contracts, identify new opportunities, and position Voiceover as a trusted provider of accessible, culturally competent language services in Scotland.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about inclusion and social justice
- Thrives in an environment where commercial success and social impact go hand in hand
- Has a strong track record of business growth, revenue generation, and market expansion
- Can build and nurture long term relationships with commissioners, public bodies and commercial partners
- Can translate data and market insight into commercial opportunities
- Has the drive and ambition to shape the future of an ambitious social enterprise
Why Join Voiceover?
Every contract you secure helps strengthen a social enterprise whose mission is to support accessibility, inclusion, and community connection.
You'll join an organisation with strong values, a respected reputation, and a clear vision for growth.
As the enterprise grows successfully, there is potential for this role to expand to full-time hours in the future.
Benefits include: 35 days annual leave (pro rata’d inclusive of 6 floating public holidays), employee assistance programme, contractual sick pay, blended working arrangements (post probationary period).
