Full Job Description

Base Location: Flexible Scotland however there will be a requirement for you to travel to Glasgow/Perth a couple days a week to be with the team and stakeholders., We have an exciting opportunity to join SSE Renewables as the Business Planning Manager within our[INS: :INS] Onshore Development & Construction Team, supporting the successful delivery of our significant portfolio of Onshore Renewables projects across GB, Ireland and Southern Europe. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple technologies such as Wind, Hydro, Solar and Battery.

Some of your main accountabilities will include;

- Leading and managing the Business Planning/PMO team across our different technologies including setting direction and priorities to ensure the Onshore Portfolio is fully serviced.

- Assisting the Head of Project Services in managing the Onshore Portfolio workforce planning model, maintaining resource supply and demand for project delivery, headcount, budgeting, and recruitment.

- Preparing, developing, and managing the annual budget process across the portfolio for Headcount and Overhead requirements, ensuring staff and costs are allocated to the correct cost centres.

- Assisting with the preparation of monthly executive reports, providing accurate data for the purposes of internal and external reporting.

- Supporting the Head of Project Services in creating a skilled Document Control function ensuring best practice tools and processes are adopted.

Experience in a Business Planning, PMO or Project Controls role, providing leadership on Large Capital Projects across multi-disciplinary teams.

- The ability to negotiate and influence at senior stakeholder level, bringing people on board by managing change and leading by example.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data and information and relay this back to stakeholders in an easy to understand format allowing key decisions to be made.

Salary: £55,200 - £80,000 + Performance-Related Bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
