Forth Valley College is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Business Support Administrator to join our Apprenticeships, Skills & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality commercial and funded training across the College, while helping to provide a professional and efficient customer engagement service.
As the first point of contact for external commercial customers, you will help ensure a premium customer experience by responding to enquiries, supporting bookings, maintaining accurate records and assisting with the smooth coordination of training activity. You will be involved in a wide range of administrative duties including candidate bookings, enrolment, resulting, certification, invoicing, ordering, room bookings, exam requests and keeping course information up to date on the College website.
This is a varied and rewarding role where attention to detail, excellent organisation and strong communication skills are essential. You will work closely with the Business Development Team, College departments, customers and employers to ensure commercial and funded training activity is recorded, tracked and processed accurately and efficiently. The role will also include supporting course delivery resources, preparing candidate packs, registering candidates with awarding bodies and processing documentation for funded training applicants.
About You
We are looking for someone with an HNC in Business Administration, or significant relevant experience, along with experience working in an administration or training environment. You should be confident using IT systems and Microsoft packages, with strong organisational, planning, customer service and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and proactive, with a positive can do attitude and a commitment to delivering a first class customer service. You will be able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, work effectively on your own initiative and maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of your work.
