We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join a busy structural and civil engineering consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least two years' administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment and supporting a variety of teams.
The Role
As a key member of the business support team, you'll provide administrative support across the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of projects and the office. Working closely with Directors, Engineers and Project Teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and suppliers.
- Managing incoming calls, emails and general enquiries.
- Coordinating meeting rooms, hospitality and office facilities.
- Setting up and maintaining project records and documentation.
- Assisting with project administration, fee tracking and reporting.
- Preparing and issuing invoices.
- Supporting tender submissions and document control.
- Booking travel and accommodation.
- Ordering office supplies, stationery and PPE.
- Providing administrative support across departments, including IT, Health & Safety, and Bids & Competitions.
- Carrying out general office administration and ad hoc duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A minimum of two years' administration experience within a professional office environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your own workload while working collaboratively within a team.
