Buyer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Buyer to join the Procurement team. The Buyer will be responsible for placing purchase orders, negotiating best prices for materials and sourcing new products and suppliers to meet the companys operational requirements.,

• Support the Procurement manager and other stakeholders in relation to supplier issues, communications and concerns which may impact on the business operations.
• Executing end to end procurement processes including data collection, spend analysis, negotiation and contract award.
• Assist in the source of new vendors, resolves conflicts concerning materials or services at the department and vendor levels.
• Provide detailed analysis against cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Work closely with the Procurement manager to deliver Value added service to internal departments and stakeholders ensuring an ethical approach.
• Achieving and reporting on savings and efficiencies achieved with costs including spend and scrappage.
• Communicating across functions and departments on procurement related issues and processes including expediting and schedule of delivery.
• Monitoring and managing performance of suppliers against contract performance indicators.
