Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Call / Recall Administration Assistant to join the Public Health Department. You will contribute to the administration and maintenance of the call / recall system in Fife for cervical screening. This will include using the national IT system SCCRS (Scottish Cervical Call Recall System) which facilitates electronic screening test invitations and reporting of results.

Skills and competencies associated with previous experience working within administration / information handling are essential. You should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a wider team are also required.

You should be educated to HNC level or have equivalent experience. An ability to work under pressure, perform within strict timetables and prioritise your workload is also needed. Experience gained in a health care setting would be advantageous.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
