Care Assistant

You will be providing care and support to ladies and gentlemen in their own homes in line with the agreed care and support plans, duties include:

· Assisting with activities of daily living, eg: getting out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing, intimate care.

· Assisting with mobility including utilising hoists, stand aids, slide sheets (full training and supervision is provided).

· Administering prescribed medication (as specific to their care plan).

· Meal preparation, cooking and assisting with eating and drinking.

· Contributing to care plans and daily reports, ensuring accurate recording is maintained.

· Reliable, open, honest, and trustworthy

· Kind, caring and sensitive to the needs of others

· Organised

· Flexible and a good team worker

· An excellent communicator

We are looking for both drivers and non-drivers. Non-drivers would be partnered with a driver to work double runs across Greenock and Gourock areas. You may be asked to support in Erskine and Bishopton areas occasionally.

· £12.10 per hour plus mileage at 40p per mile for drivers and £12.00 per hour for non-drivers

· We offer permanent contracts and pay full shifts NOT per client
