Full Job Description
A care worker / Personal assistant is required by the employer, a 35-year-old woman, to assist with their personal requirements. They are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible and trustworthy., A reliable and trustworthy person able to take direct instruction is required to assist with all aspects of:
- Assisting with preparing and cooking meals
- Assisting with personal care
- Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.
The successful applicant should have a good history and experience of providing care and support.
Experience of working with children/older people/people with disabilities/mental health. The employer requires care in many aspects of daily life therefore flexibility is required.
SVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care preferred but not essential
You must be able to work with a team, however support will mostly on a one-to-one basis.
As driving will be required as part of this role, the successful applicant should have a full driving license.
Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
Rate of Pay: £13.45 gross per hour
Shift Pattern: You will be required to work a minimum of 6 hours per week 4 days out of 7 Monday to Thursday
Monday 5 30pm until 7pm
Tuesday 5 30pm until 7pm
Wednesday 5 30pm until 7pm
Thursday 5 30pm until 7pm
However flexibility required as times may vary.
Extra hours may be offered if and when available
