Full Job Description
We are seeking a female carer/personal assistant to support a woman (41) with M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, living in a shared household with her mother (78). This role involves gentle, paced support delivered calmly and respectfully. Role Includes:
- Personal care (bed bathing, hair washing, assistance with dressing)
- Food preparation and simple home cooking
- General housework (cleaning, laundry, changing bedding)
- Help with weekly online grocery shopping and occasional phone calls
- Companionship
- Occasional wheelchair outings (garden and beyond)
- Optional support with car outings (training provided)
- Supporting a shared household, including light tasks for another adult family member
Previous care experience desirable but not essential - Ability to follow a routine carefully and work slowly and calmly

Approximately 19 hours over 3 weekdays, between 10am and 5pm (exact schedule agreed at hiring) - Breakfast and evening shifts may also be available (desirable but not required)
- £13.45 per hour (employed position, paid via payroll/PAYE)
