Cask Handler

Connect Appointments are seeking experienced Cask Handler for our established client based in the East End of Glasgow.

What's on offer?

• Full-time ongoing temporary contract
• Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (with an early Friday finish)
• Paid weekly at 13.55 per hour
• Immediate starts available for the right candidate

As a Cask Handler, you will be responsible for the safe movement of spirit within an established set of process procedures. Meanwhile, supporting a range of activities on-site including filling, warehousing, disgorging, and empty cask handling; and ensuring targets are met in relation to quality, service, and cost.

To be successful in this Cask Handler role, you will have previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment - ideally with cask handling experience. You will also be familiar with drinks industry legislation and the health and safety requirements around cask handling.
