Full Job Description
A Casual Personal Assistant/ Care worker is required by the employer to provide compassionate and reliable personal care for a 40 year old male with Becker's Muscular Dystrophy. This rewarding role includes assisting with personal care, daily tasks, and mobility using a hoist. Maintaining confidentiality and dignity at all times. Tasks will include:
- Assisting the supported person with personal care including grooming.
- Safely use hoists and other mobility aids to assist with movement.
- Assisting with meal preparation (Lunch and dinner)
- Supporting the supported person with Physio and training schedule
- Provide holiday and emergency cover as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Assisting the Supported person to attend appointments
