Catering Assistant

Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.

- Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are providing excellent customer service at all times.

- Stocking up and putting away deliveries

- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.

- No previous experience required, but 1-2 years' experience in a food services or retail environment desirable

- Work well as part of a team

Location: Charles River Laboratories (CDL), Tranent, EH33 2NE Salary: £24,562.79 / £13.45 per hour Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Shift pattern: 7:30 am to 3:00pm, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work in hospitality
