The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated and passionate. We will be looking for someone who has a good level of understanding of how a kitchen should run and operate.

Makars has two busy restaurants on the Mound just off the Royal Mile, which allows for variety as we work across both venues.

This position will offer Full-time (approximately 45 hours per week) or Part time (approximately 20 hours) giving any individual a work/life balance. As CDP, you will be offered £14.50ph plus 12.06% holiday pay, and amazing tips of between £150-£200(Equally shared between FOH/BOH) paid each week. In return we ask for your dedication, energy and hard work to make our Makars team even more special. If you are taken on as a Sous Chef, the wage will be higher - based on experience and skillset.
